This time of year can be extremely triggering. So rather than punching your drywall or screaming into a pillow, do this instead. Exercise has amazing benefits for your mental and physical health, so please join me for this quick and effective workout designed to get your mind off the heavy stuff.
Grab a mat, some props like a chair, TRX, or weights if you have them handy, and let’s take a minute together. We will do a very quick warm up, and then a series of plyometric exercises combined with steady-state core and isolations. This full-body workout is a quick one you can repeat for a 20 or 40 minute long workout and a lot of yummy stretching and deep breathing afterwards.
This is the yin and the yang of exercise. So you can take out any aggression or stress onto your mat, and get your focus back with some deep core work. You’ll return sweaty, refreshed, and won’t scare your family.
